Dedicated Offshore Development Team

The concept is fairly simple and straight forward. It makes economic sense for large corporations to open up offices in offshore locations and setup dedicated software teams to support their businesses globally. For small to medium size companies this option may not be economically feasible. Solution: hire a dedicated offshore development team. In our experience, even some large companies find this option valuable.

In a nutshell, we:

  • Provide the software developers, designers, QC staff
  • Provide the facility, infrastructure, and training
  • Provide a PM/Team lead for each team (optional)

The benefits are:

  • No recruitment, real estate, HR related cost
  • Flexibility to staff up/down or dissolve the team
  • Total cost saving in the 60% to 90% range

So how does the process work? The clients provide us with their requirements (technology platform, number of associates, duration of the team (if any)) etc. Based on client requirements, we start the staffing process. Clients interview the associates and determine their suitability. Once the team is finalized and all the hardware/software requirements are met, the team starts to work for the client.

The cost of a dedicated developer is significantly lower than what you would pay for a local developer. Similarly, additional savings of office cost, hiring cost, infrastructure cost, and HR related cost make the dedicated offshore development team option very attractive. Collaboration between your dedicated offshore development team and your onshore team takes place through email/chat/audio communication. All the team members report to you directly or through your assigned project manager depending on the project management system you define. We ensure that all the staff members are punctual, productive, and ethical in their responsibilities.

There are two office environments that we can provide: Closed Office and Open Office. Closed office environment is where all your team members are seated in one room and no other person is seated in that room. Open office environment is where more than one team is seated in a particular room or hall.
