ACME started with a team of four associates – the project manager (business-side) and the IT team consisting of a designer, a PHP programmer and an HTML developer. In this initial phase, ACME’s owner and MKO PM worked on devising a business/marketing plan and setting objectives and then the IT team followed the defined path to create a new website for ACME that was user-friendly as well as SEO-friendly. In the second phase, ACME increased its MKO team to eight resources by adding an online marketing team consisting of a Search Engine Optimizer (SEO), a Social Media Marketer (SMM) and a Content Writer to devise and implement an online marketing campaign for ACME. During the second phase, the IT team was assigned to a process automation project to help improve ACME’s operational efficiency.
